For the TrokenTech brand, we implemented an online store on the latest version of PrestaShop software. TrokenTech mainly supplies specialty construction chemicals which required customizing the software to handle hundreds of product combinations and educating the customer on the customer’s main purchasing path.

About the brand

A company operating on the market since 2012, specializing in the sale of construction chemicals from manufacturers of Polish and foreign companies. It provides comprehensive solutions and formulations of verified quality. The company also operates three stationary points – in Wroclaw, Katowice and Warsaw.

The challange

A marketing agency on behalf of a client approached us to implement an online store on PrestaShop software based on the provided graphic design. The store offers products that have hundreds of combinations along with grouping which required rebuilding the way combinations work in the online store to achieve an efficient solution on the user side and a simplified way for the customer to manage combinations. The store was also prepared under the individual requirements of the marketing agency and the cooperation required coordination of several entities.

The result


In the first phase, we deeply understood the client’s needs and verified the provided graphic design. After analysis, several adjustments to the graphic design were made to implement the views more efficiently. Most of the requirements were discussed at the meeting and with the graphic design we were able to precisely define the functional requirements.

We carried out the implementation in accordance with the Scrum methodology. As the implementation began, we precisely broke down all tasks in the project tool by sprints. This approach allows us to more effectively conduct a sprint planning meeting at which we usually specify the details of task requirements.

The sprints lasted on average every 10 days and ended with a meeting presenting the results of the work in the tasks. It is standard for us to present the results of the work on the development server, so that the client can also check the results of the work on his own.

As part of the implementation, we also made numerous integrations with payment systems and completed an integration with an ERP system that required the creation of a custom integration solution.


The implementation of an online store for the TrokenTech brand was successfully implemented and the result of our work can be seen directly at trokentech.pl The implementation took a total of 640 hours and was completed in 6 months from the start of the order.
